ZAVA is based in London and regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Our doctors are registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) and our pharmacy is registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

How is ZAVA regulated?

This site is operated by Health Bridge Limited which is registered in England and Wales under company number 07392646. The registered office and the main trading address is Health Bridge Ltd (t/a ZAVA), 46 Essex Rd, London N1 8LN.

Health Bridge Limited is registered with and regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the regulator of NHS and private medical providers, under registration number 1-201500907. As such we comply with the Health and Social Care Act 2008.

We follow strict safety standards and are subject to regular checks by the CQC. We work tirelessly to ensure the consistency and quality of our service. When developing this service we follow the recommendations of NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence).

About these regulations

The Health and Social Care Act 2008 sets out the standards under which providers can offer medical services remotely. The Care Quality Commission supervises that these standards are complied with. In particular, ZAVA

  • provides individual, evidence-based, transparent and safe consultations
  • adheres to professional standards and keeps you as a patient informed
  • keeps your details confidential and secure
  • provides access to your records in your electronic account
  • surveys patient satisfaction and offers complaints and feedback procedures

ZAVA doctors

Our team of doctors are registered with and regulated by the General Medical Council (GMC, Regent’s Place, 350 Euston Rd, London NW1 3JN) and as such comply with the Good Medical Practice Guidelines. The GMC maintains the medical register for those able to practise within the United Kingdom. Our Medical Director Dr Zenon Andreou is registered under number 6149061. These registration details can be viewed on the GMC website.

Our doctors are trained in providing remote consultations and issuing prescription medicine online. The doctors are individually responsible for the prescriptions they issue. They prescribe from the UK under our CQC registration in line with English regulations and laws for healthcare.

ZAVA dispensing pharmacies

The medication we prescribe is dispensed and posted from the Health Bridge Limited Pharmacy or Innox Trading Limited Pharmacy.

Health Bridge Limited Pharmacy premises address is: Health Bridge Limited Pharmacy, 46 Essex Rd, London N1 8LN. The premises opening hours are 1pm-5pm Monday and Thursdays, excluding bank holidays.. The pharmacy is registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) under number 9011147. The Superintendent Pharmacist for Health Bridge Limited Pharmacy is Alex Howson, who is registered with the GPhC under number 2086645.

Innox Trading Limited Pharmacy premises address is: 34a-37 Greenhey Place, Skelmersdale, Lancashire, WN8 9SA, United Kingdom. The pharmacy is registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) under number 9011784. The Superintendent Pharmacist for Innox Trading Limited Pharmacy is James O'Loan, who is registered with the GPhC under number 2084549.
